Wuheshalu section is located ~40 km west of Wuqia, between the PFT and the Wuheshalu fault in the convergence area between the Pamir and the South Tian Shan (Figs. 1, 2, and 4A). This ~15-km-long section exposes late Cenozoic successions along the Kezilesu River southwest of the Wuheshalu
