Named by the British Antarctic Expedition 1907-09 for J.J. Kinsey of Christchurch, who conducted the affairs of the expedition in New Zealand. 552:. A massive mountain, 3,470 metres (11,380 ft) high, standing 2.5 nautical miles (4.6 km; 2.9 mi) north-northwest of Mount Henry Lucy and forming the highest elevation in the Supporters Range.
