It is also the only current to have continuously presented itself as "the" Fourth International. The SWP's central committee argued that democratic capitalism could not revive, resulting in either military dictatorship by the capitalists or a workers' revolution. across the world, with some divided over which particular organization represents the true legacy and political continuity of the historical Fourth International.
