That puts the choice of title apparently in our camp. I do however agree with Shadow007's parsing of the difference between the two. "In the Middle Ages" also avoids the rather pointless problem of edit wars re: Medieval vs. Mediaeval vs,. Mediæval (see the Britain page). -- 804:
Hello, I would like to edit this document and add a section involving Jewish and Christian relations in the Middle Ages in France. This is an assignment for my Jewish History class and it is due 5/12. I know this is extremely late notice, but to compensate, I will be readily available to listen to

I am currently doing a section on Saint-Louis, I'll expand it and diversify sources as I progress. I'm not sure about my spelling though so feel free to correct me. I'll add more sections later more precisely on Philip II and IV as well as on the earlier capetians. I may also add stuffs on the

I moved the history section above that containing geography, demographics and language. History is what the article is about, and also I think it's hard to make sense of the geography section in particular, without knowledge of the history of that period.
534:
The "Middle Ages" is the actual time period. "Medieval" means "of, or pertaining to, the Middle Ages". Therefore, it would seem more correct to use the noun rather than the adjective. Perhaps semantic but I would say that is the reason.

settles the issue of whether "mediaeval/mediæval" is even worth bringing up as an argument. Not even the British seem to care much about this one. It's about as relevant as fretting about someone insisting on
514:
That doesn't really explain anything. Why are those titles not at "Medieval Britain", "Medieval Germany", "Medieval Spain", etc? They all have a lead that use that title and still they use the long and bulky
473:
Why is the article located at the bulky "France in the Middle Ages" when the title still seems to de facto be "Medieval France"? The latter seems so much more intuitive and compact and parallels

Small communities however, incorporated these prejudiced ideas into their beliefs, which led to some instances of Blood Libels which took many Jewish lives.

I need to correct what I said earlier: judging from the edit histories, it seems that the article France in the Middle Ages was created long before

The reference Hallo-1984 seems fine to me, but the way this section is written up, I'd be inclined to remove it and start over. The article
