The building was gazetted for conservation on 21 November 2015. In 2007, the Masonic Club was relocated to the basement. The building underwent a $ 7.5 million renovation, which was completed in 2012. From 2013 to 2015, the ground floor housed the Bacchanalia restaurant, which was then replaced by Madison Rooms, a private club.
