Kusum is heartbroken and severs all ties with Adit which leaves the latter equally devastated. To regain Kusum's trust, Adit makes an effort to be kind to Miguel. In response, Kusum resumes the preparations for Adit and Mangal's second wedding, offering Adit a second chance. Lakshmi, on the other hand, harbors suspicions about Adit.
