The Park was located next to the largest drugstore in the world and close to Ponyland, an amusement site owned and operated by Leo "Pat" Murphy and his wife, Viva Murphy at 8536 Beverly Boulevard. The Park initially measured 200 by 200 feet (.91 acres), doubling in size in the first four years to reach 400 by 200 feet (1.83 acres) by 1947. 1017: 1029: 374:
Disney hired Bradley as a consultant for five years, from 1950 to 1955. During this time, Bradley visited Europe to take pictures of interesting rides and to gain ideas to design a new Amusement Park. It was then that Bradley came up with the concept of the famous "Main Street" and convinced Disney to build it. Starting from 1955, on his return from Europe, he focused solely on operating Beverly Park, but not before leaving his influences in

During the last twenty years of the Park's operations, from 1954 to 1974, the site was filled with up to 30,000 visitors on a single weekend. Beverly Park's popularity is still widely remembered by many Los Angeles area citizens who used to enjoy its rides.

In the late 1950s the Amusement Park industry peaked.
