I believe, although i'd prefer using "ș", we should use "s" considering that "ș" doesnt exist in the english alphabet. Either that, or use "sh". However doing that would also start the argument of using "uh" for "ă". I can understand standardizing it to ș too, since that is usually whats on the person's birth certificate, in Valery's and Andrei's case, even though "ș" doesnt exist in English. Although this is about the use of "ș" vs "s", realistically there proabably are instances of using a instead of ă or â, or the opposite, and most definently of t instead of ț, or vice versa.
