I visited last year the historical museum of Saxe-Lauenburg in its former capital Ratzeburg, but there was no conclusive presentation of the duchy as a state. The exhibition concentrates a lot on ethnography of the 18th-20th c. The museum shop did not even offer a conclusive short history of the duchy, but rather booklets on curious stories.
