19: 27: 94:'s wife, Elizabeth Catherine (née Howard), in 1929. The 4th Earl was a British cabinet minister and Lord Lieutenant of Ireland. His wife, Elizabeth Catherine Howard, otherwise known as Elsie, used the Manor at Teversal for refugees. Their son 90:. He died young in 1849, but his widow lived until 1876. In 2012 the current owners, John and Janet Marples, after running a café and gift shop at the house for some time, announced their intention to seek planning permission to convert the house into 16 individual dwellings.
