Jackson pleaded guilty on February 20, 2013, to one count of wire and mail fraud. He resigned from Congress after being convicted of having sex with an underage campaign worker. While serving a five-year prison sentence, Reynolds was convicted in 1997 of unrelated charges of bank fraud and using campaign finances for personal expenses.
